We are eating cereal!!

Landen had his 4 month old checkup and it went really well. He is growing nicely. He now weighs 15 lbs! He loves to eat! This month we started cereal and what a treat that has been. He wasn't sure about the spoon but is now a pro! He loves his cereal. It seems like he is doing so many things now.....rolling over....laughing....playing with us. He is getting big too fast.

Landen has hit the 3 month mark and is doing so much better. We have finally found a formula that is working great. He is growing so fast. He is already developing his personality....it is so funny! He prefers his mommy to feed him and rock him to sleep. He prefers his daddy to play with him. He is the love of our lives!

Landen is 2 months old!!

Landen is now 2 months old and we have yet to find a formula that this child likes and can tolerate. We are now on our third try! Hopefully third time's a charm! He is smiling and making eye contact with us. He is already picking up on different people and of course can tell when his mommy and daddy are holding him. I would love to think that he is a mama's boy but he is pretty fond of his daddy too.

Landen Duke is 1 month old!!

Landen has been with us for a month now and we are getting used to being new parents. He is the best thing that has happened to us....however, this little bundle of joy doesn't think that he needs to sleep! We never knew someone so little could last longer than us! The first month was a little bumpy for us. Landen suffers with colic and we have had to change his formula. Hopefully we will get on the right track soon!

Baby Landen Duke Hayes Arrives!!!

On Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 1:55pm, baby Landen Duke Hayes greeted his mommy and daddy! He was born at The Ohio State Medical Center weighing 7 lbs and 19 3/4 in. long. All are doing well. He looks like daddy!
